So, if you are about to buy a new sofa, you are either refurnishing or renovating, or you just want to replace the old sofa with a new one.
If you are renewing the old furniture in your living room and not changing anything from the old layout, then you could choose a sofa with the same shape as the old one or choose a sofa and armchair configuration that fits the space. If you are renovating your home, you could consider a new layout and get yourself a new comfy sofa as you wish. Check out one of my living room remodelling projects where we made a new layout with a comfy corner sofa, here. If you just want to replace an old sofa with a new one, then look around for a new comfy couch with the same dimensions and shape.
Let’s proceed to the question of who is the most comfortable couch and how to recognize it. There is no exact rule for a comfortable sofa. What is comfortable for you is perfect. On your back, on your body shapes. One thing is certain, the perfect comfy sofa must be made of high-quality materials and have an excellent design.
When we furnish, we think about thousands of things – the colour of the walls, the style in each room, the distribution of the furniture and their functionality. The comfy sofa, however, emerges as the most important piece of furniture at home, because it is often the place where we want to feel as comfortable as possible.
It should complement the interior with design and colors, but in addition, the sofa should provide comfort and functionality so that it is suitable for all members of the family. It can have many different shapes, fillings and upholstery, easy to clean. However, how do we choose the most suitable sofa to become our favorite piece of furniture?

HOW DO YOU TELL IF A SOFA WILL BE COMFORTABLE FOR YOU?
2. Pay attention to the size, your comfy sofa will stay with you for a long time!
It’s almost impossible to know if a sofa will be comfortable if you don’t try it on. Being able to sit and even lie down on the couch before you buy it will save you frustration down the road. As with choosing a mattress, it’s a good idea to try it out beforehand. If you are interested in more about how to choose a mattress, you can read my article here.
So, if you have gone on a tour of the shops in search of your comfortable couch and it is difficult for you to imagine how it would look in your home, the easiest way is to take in advance the size of the area on which it will be placed and ask the showroom consultant for assistance. The consultants will help you make a good decision about the placement and dimensions of the sofa.
When you hear the word sofa, you probably always think of a deep comfy couch or a comfy corner sofa. Whichever one you choose, be sure that it will fit perfectly into your living room, and the design can easily be broken up by cushions in different sizes and colors. The most important criteria by which it is often chosen is its size and hardness.
The 2 seater sofa with compact dimensions, also called “Loveseat”, will envelop you with its cozy and comfortable forms when sitting. This piece of furniture is in no way inferior to its larger 3 seater sibling, suitable for the whole family.
Of course, the practical corner sofa, which provides space for the whole family, remains at the top of the ranking for the most desirable comfy sofa.
SOFA TIPS
3. Match the sofa to the dimensions of the room. Also pay attention to the other elements of the interior. We advise you to measure all sides carefully and leave enough distance to pass. Whether you place the sofa in the corner or in the middle of the room, judge for yourself or consult the manufacturer. Here is a quick and easy example of how to choose the perfect comfy sofa: If the room is small, choose a small and compact couch. A good option are 2 or 3 seater sofas. If the space is larger, consider a large sofa with a chaise or footstool. Whatever you choose, the best solution is to choice on a bespoke sofa. This way you will get the exact furniture you need.
CHOOSE THE RIGHT COLOR AND FABRIC
4. Choosing the right fabric and color is an important part of choosing a comfy sofa. This will build the final look of the living room and transform the interior. Since you will be spending a large part of your time on your cozy couch, I strongly recommend that you think about the interior concept from the beginning.
Match the sofa with the rest of the decor, such as carpet, wall color, curtains, furniture, etc.
Choosing the right upholstery depends on whether you have pets and small children. If this is the case, it is good to go for an upholstery that is durable and easy to clean. Elastron Group offer a huge variety of durable damasks with different finishes.
Artificial leather is a good solution in this situation, but it also has its drawbacks. Know that during the warm months you will be uncomfortable sitting on your comfy sofa, and on the other hand, leather sofas require more special care.
Textile upholstery is more difficult to maintain, but has more comfort and softness to the touch. The most common question that my clients ask me is whether to choose a dark or light color upholstery. And again we come to the answer: It depends on the style of the interior.
I guess you know as well as everyone that light colors get dirty more and dark colors last longer. My advice is to be guided only by your needs and preferences and what feeling you want to have relaxing in your comfy sofa.

ANATOMICAL COMFORT
5. Undoubtedly, sofas are one of the main elements in the interior of any living room. We can admire them, enjoy them, show them to friends and acquaintances. But what distinguishes them from fashion accessories is that, above all, they must have impeccable comfort and beautiful design. How to choose the perfect sofa?
The comfy sofa should follow the curves of the body so that you don’t want to get up. The filling should meet your density requirements. The main examples of this are: if you like a firm to soft sitting, you should choose foam padding. If you like softness with the feeling of a fluffy cloud, then undoubtedly your choice should be feather filling.
